Stripers After Work! - Again!

On Monday myself and friends Dan and Tom decided to do a little striper fishing after work. I left the office at 4:30 and we were pulling out of the driveway at 5:00 with boat in tow.

Grabbed a couple dozen fresh bunker from Port Penn B&T and we were on our way.

We got setup around 6 and 5 minutes later we get a bite. Tom reels in this fish which turns out to be a really nice catfish.

We stayed in that area for an hour or so, but we were getting nothing but short bites. Made a move a couple hundred yards in a little shallower and that proved to be the right call.

After chumming heavily we started getting some good bites and put a couple shorts in the boat along with one keeper right at 28". Every time we chummed heavy we'd get a few bites. We continued fishing like this until around 9:30 catching a bunch of shorts and 1 more 28" keeper. When the tide dropped out the bites stopped so we decided to call it a night. Not bad for a few hours after work!
