1st Time in a Tree This Year

Had a couple hours after work, so met up with my buddy to try to get him his first deer (Just got his 1st bow last year). We got setup around 4:30 and while walking into the stand kicked up a little button buck that was bedded down.

Weather was perfect, not too hot and no wind, but the deer did not move. At least not where we were. The woods we were hunting are surrounded by corn right now and I suspect a lot of the deer are staying put in the corn for the most part. Once some of it starts getting picked I expect to see more deer.
