Capt Todd Kurtz, first mate Tito Benitez and an open boat crew came in today from an overnight Norfolk canyon trip. Temperature break of 9'(68'-77') at 500F.
First Bigeye of the year, a 174# caught on a Penn 50, took 2 hours, way to go Todd and anglers.
8 YFT keepers and 12 YFT releases, 2 Mahi, all caught on ballyhoo.
Great shark action overnight with one 150# Mako, 12 Hammerhead releases and 5 Dusky releases.
Jade II available June 6-9 and June 11-15, 12 hour trip, 8 anglers $2450/ 10 anglers $2650, 30 knots to the canyon.
