Well today wasn't the big bang em up day we were all hoping for, but we ended up scratching out 1 snow goose and probably should of had a few more. The birds worked our decoys pretty good in the morning, but failed to finish on most occasions leaving us with very few shots. The field full of real birds 300 yards in front of us also did not help our cause. The group of hunters behind us blaring Lynyrd Skynyrd through their e-caller also did not help (this was when we were about done, but birds were still in the area).
Hopefully we'll have better luck next time!

I was also fully prepared to give a "Helen's Sausage Sandwich" report, but we arrived 10 minutes after they closed (who closes at noon on a weekend). This sad situation ruined the whole trip for one of our hunters as getting a couple of sandwiches from Helen's is his favorite part of our hunting trips.
