The following fishing report is from Captain Adam Crouthamel of Adam Bomb Sport Fishing. Adam fishes the inshore waters around Cape May, NJ year round. He targets stripers, flounder, tog, sea bass, drum, cod and all other inshore species found around Cape May. I have personally fished with Adam multiple times and each trip was outstanding. Aboard this afternoon were Tom, Ian, John, John, Chris, and Tom for their open boat drum trip. Fishing the DE Bay, we sat on excellent drum marks and heard them drumming hard for the entire trip AGAIN! It took a lot of patience and a lot of clamsto get a drum, as the bait thieves(small dogfish, ling, and kingfish) were out in full force. However, patience was rewarded with four hook ups, putting two in the boat...30lbs and 60lbs respectively. Thanks very much, guys!

Richie Jones and the boys were aboard today. It was a beautifulafternoon on the bay! Four of the gang had never fished before, and they were after drum! We got a few nice fish, with top honors going to Sam for his 65lb slob that also the first fish of the day. We got a couple others to the boat(hooked 5 and boated 3), keeping 2 and releasing another. The two smaller fish were 20 to 30 pounders, and the biggest was 65lbs. The fish were all around the boat, as we saw them thick as thieves on the sonar AND heard them the ENTIRE trip. It's going to be insanity any night. Thanks guys!
