Morning to everyone. Quick report from this past weekend of fishing. There was a fair Tuna bite in the Baltimore canyon this past week and weekend. The better looking water was in the Poor Mans but the water holding tuna was up north of there. Sharking was only fair during the day but was good at night for those that choose to stay over the night. The first wahoo and blue marlin were caught over the weekend also. There were several blue marlins caught and several whites as well. I can see the blue marlins being caught because of the number of small tuna that we have been catching - blues like to dine on the little yellow fins. I heard of some action in the south Wilmington but have not actual confirmation on that. There have also been a goodly number of Big Eyes caught around the 100 F line from the Baltimore to the Wilmington Canyons.
We have a July 3rd "make up" in the works for an offshore tuna trip. We already have 3 anglers signed up. We are looking for three more. First come, first served. Cash price is $400 per head with a $200 deposit. This price includes everything except for what you eat, drink and fish cleaning. Call or E-mail me if interested.
