The following fishing report is from Captain Adam Crouthamel of Adam Bomb Sport Fishing. Adam fishes the inshore waters around Cape May, NJ year round. He targets stripers, flounder, tog, sea bass, drum, cod and all other inshore species found around Cape May. I have personally fished with Adam multiple times and each trip was outstanding. With
tog closing tomorrow, we shoved off at 6am sharp with Doug, Steve, Nadine, Dick,
Clyde, and Chubby. We fished four drops today. ALL of them had good life.Plenty
of short and keeper tog, along with too many nice sea bass to count(all
released). We had put some nice fish in the box prior to our last stop, but as
the clouds rolled inon the last drop of the day some big fish decided to chew!
We put some beautiful 4 to 7pounders in the box and Nadine took the cake getting
a beauty of a whitechin at 9pounds.She also pulled the hook on a fish that she
swears was WAAAY bigger than this one, and I can attest as she couldn'tdo
anything with it after she set thehook, and then the hook pulled.
At
the end of the day we had an EASY limit of NICE blackfish. We played catch and
release for a while, letting go more nice fish before heading for Harbor View!
What a day!
